June 1, 2009: I shared with my team that one of our members was going to be taking a short sabbatical. She approached me about it and I thought it would be great if we could make this happen. Everything fell in place and she will be off for 3 months, unpaid of course.
It's great to be able to help people do what they want. The team will make do and get along until she returns. Nobody complained about fairness or responsibility. Everyone thought it was wonderful that she could afford this and that the company was in line.
For that, i am truly thankful.
