Day Two, Out of ICU

April 19, 2009: Today, Jake was released to a normal unit. He continues to do well. His follow up CT scans show no major issues. He has a sever concussion, but is doing better. I came home for a few hours to shower and change, but I went straight back. Not much sleep in the Pediatric ICU, but I need to be with my wife and son. The other kids are at her parents.

So far, so good. We might be released tomorrow.

For that, I am truly thankful.
