January 21, 2009: Today is the day that my friends and I find out whether we are still employed, or if our jobs have been eliminated. I am working from home, waiting until my appointed time to have a meeting and find out my fate. I honestly spent last night and much of today praying for God to help those who lose their job, as well as those who have to give that information to another. They are both my friends and they will both be hurt.
If I have a life change thrust upon me, I pray that I am smart enough and strong enough to make of it as God would have me. I often need a kick in the rump to move. If God feels the need to kick me today, I pray that I have the faith to say "Thank you Sir. May I have another?"
God has changed me enough that I can think of others at times like these.
For that, I am truly thankful.
